Think Pink Challenge In Memory of Dawn Austin .

As you all know Crafting for All Seasons Challenge has been a great success , this fabulous challenge was started by Dawn Austin and two years ago Carol joined her to run the challenge.

Dawn had been very bravely battling breast cancer for some time, never giving up hope that she would beat it or that a cure would be found in time to save her. 

Sadly this was not to be and Dawn lost her brave fight on 5th February this year.

Carol has pledged that she will continue to run the challenge in place of  Dawn for as long as is possible,  and this week , the second year anniversary of the start of this challenge blog Carol has a special challenge to honour Dawn and her fight against breast cancer.

I was a member of the CRAFTING FOR ALL SEASONS Design Team for a short while and left them in January this year. Carol has asked all prior DT members to make a special card for this challenge and here is my card in honour of Dawn.

Use something Lacey

Good morning everyone,
I guess if you are in the UK then its raining where you are, its raining so hard here in the North West that I can hardly hear myself think.
I hope that you are are well and looking forwards to a nice summer, I certainly am I have had enough of the cold this year.
My card today is for the current challenge at A Day For Daisies and that is to use something Lacey.

I have used one of the stamps they brought out in April,  I think she is lovely and I have printed out her flowers again and again in a larger format to create the flowers in the corner of the card. I used my Serif program to add  the image to a scene , this time a beach scene.

Hello everyone , 
I am sorry I have not posted for such a long time but life here has got in the way, just a little.
Dad is still living with me and my hubby Tim and he will probably continue to do so now. Amazingly Mum is still with us,  and has settled more into the nursing home , although she is still very poorly and not expected to be with us for long. 

However , behind the scenes and in the small amount of time I have these days to craft,  I have been working on a project for the lovely Lynda Chapman.

The deal is a fantastic crafting CD, plus more, this new CD features original artwork drawn by the very talented SUZIE SROKA, with sweet fairies and elves in lovely spring colours.

For a Princess

Must get more copics as am running out of them ,thank goodness I still have my promarkers and flexi markers to keep me going .

The carriage is from the new Frou Frou CD from Crafters Companion and the lace is from a Digikit , but I am sorry but I am not sure which one . I used my Serif graphics program to put all the scene together and to make the sentiment. 

Then once I had printed out the scene onto super smooth card I then coloured the image using a mix of promarkers and flexi markers .

Baby Girl

Here is my second card made today .
 I have had this lovely Mother Fairy and baby fairy digi stamp for some time now.
 I purchased it from A Day For Daisies. I coloured this image with Copic ciao pens , but first I printed the digi onto a night sky background using my Serif Graphics program .

What a great day today ,I was set to craft all day long but we had visitors for a few hours , which was lovely, so I only had time to make two cards today. I hope you have all had a good weekend
